0.6.0-beta · September 20, 2026
This private testing release brings trip planning, visit-aware pass matching and offline map areas into the existing Explore, My Places and My Passes tabs.
- Named trips with ordered stops, dates, party details, notes and a scoped trip map.
- Personal pass matching and fee comparisons that preserve unknown or conditional results.
- Dated before-you-go facts, documented access choices and facility filtering where evidence is available.
- Native light/dark offline maps for selected areas, with progress, pause/resume and removal.
- Password-encrypted full backups alongside the existing places-only export.
- Signed public-data imports and optional publisher checks; no online publisher preconfigured.
0.5.2-beta · September 20, 2026
Improved queued preference changes and Undo behavior around data clearing and restoring. Removed duplicated geometry packaging while preserving existing app identities and records.
The Parkspan 0.5 series
Introduced the Parkspan display name, distinct geographic layers and marker styling, clearer benefit colors, illustrated pass references, exact-date expiry, safer private-image deletion and improved park galleries.
Subsequent refinements improved the layer picker, larger-text presentation and proportional image cropping.
Still worth knowing
Coverage varies by destination. Offline areas do not guarantee a whole park or an inter-stop route. The app does not provide live closure alerts, bookings, pass issuance, cloud synchronization or turn-by-turn directions. All implemented features remain free.
