In the app, open Settings → Support → Diagnostics. Generate the report, then use Preview report contents before saving or sharing it.

The report includes technical details and your optional issue description. It excludes pass photos, credentials, searches, coordinates and your place collection. Review anything you write yourself.

Opening the share menu does not send anything. Choose the recipient in your email or sharing app. Please do not send passwords, backup files, private pass images or unnecessary personal information.

What is Parkspan?

Parkspan is an independent Android app for discovering national and state parks and other public recreation destinations. It brings together places, trips, pass information, saved visits and selected offline map areas.

Is the app free?

All implemented Parkspan features are free, with no ads or subscriptions in the app. Park entrance fees, official passes, reservations and mobile data charges are separate.

Can I download it yet?

Parkspan 0.6.0-beta is currently in private testing. There is no public download or Google Play listing yet. The availability page will provide the official destination when a public release is ready.

Does it work on iPhone?

The app currently supports Android 11 and newer. You can browse this website on an iPhone, iPad or computer, but an iOS version of the app is not available.

What works without a signal?

The bundled catalog, saved places, trips and pass wallet work offline. Download a selected map area before you leave. A download covers an area around a chosen point, not necessarily the whole park or the roads between stops. External links and uncached full-size photos may still need internet.

Does a photo replace my physical park pass?

No. The wallet keeps a private reference copy. It does not issue or validate a pass, and a stored photo does not establish acceptance as an official digital pass. Carry the pass and identification required by the destination.

Are fees and park conditions live?

Parkspan uses dated, sourced information with some coverage gaps. It does not provide live closure alerts or an all-clear for travel. Check the destination's official information for current access, reservations, fees and eligibility.
