A few moments in Yosemite
The opening film is an edited silent sequence from Yosemite Stock Footage (2021), published by Yosemite National Park / National Park Service. Its source page explicitly makes the footage public domain for use for any purpose.
Parkspan's current seven-second loop opens directly on flowing water and combines waterfall and mist scenes with gentle dissolves. The loading image is the opening frame; the earlier quiet valley shot has been removed. The film is hosted with this website, not embedded from a third-party player. It is scenery, not current-condition or access guidance.
App screens and illustrations
The product viewer uses actual Parkspan 0.6.0-beta screenshots from isolated tests with synthetic records. They are illustrative, and are not current travel quotes. The trip and pass graphics elsewhere are explanatory illustrations, not issued credentials.
Parkspan maps use MapLibre and OpenFreeMap. Map data credits include © OpenStreetMap contributors and OpenMapTiles. A rendered app map is not a live map on this website.
Typography and icons
Cormorant Garamond by the Cormorant Project Authors and Manrope by Mikhail Sharanda are used under the SIL Open Font License. Font subsets are served locally. Interface icons are from Lucide under the ISC license. The Parkspan brand mark adapts the existing application launcher artwork.
Google Play and the Google Play logo are trademarks of Google LLC. The Google Play badge is served locally from Google's supplied artwork. A disabled badge marked Coming soon reserves the future store action; it does not indicate that a listing is already available.
Public park information
The Android catalog draws on federal, state, district and territorial park sources, RIDB and USGS PAD-US, with documented references and review dates. Coverage is partial and changes over time. Consult the sources shown in the app and official destination information before traveling.
