The catalog is curated and can be incomplete. Some sites have no ground photographs; historical aerial alternatives are clearly labeled.

Keep multiple named passes with front and back photos, product information, valid-from dates, exact expiry dates and lifetime status.
Private images are encrypted with a device-held key. A reference photo does not issue, validate or replace an official pass.

Unverified conditions never become confirmed coverage. Your answers inform an estimate; they are not official eligibility verification.

Save light and dark vector maps around selected park or trip-stop locations. Choose a 5, 15 or 30 km radius, then pause, resume or remove downloads.
Downloads cover selected areas at zoom levels 0–14, not necessarily whole parks or routes between stops. Keep the app open while downloading.

External links, directions apps and uncached full-size park photos may need a connection. Offline information can become outdated.

No online publisher is preconfigured in this beta. Signed updates contain park facts, not app code or real-time conditions.

Save parks you want to visit, mark the ones you have explored and add optional visit dates. Organize collections and use Undo for recent changes.
Saved and visited are independent. Parkspan does not automatically detect visits or record your location history.
Read the guideExport a places-only file or create a password-encrypted full backup with trips, preferences, pass details and private images. Preview a restore before merging or replacing.
The full-backup password cannot be recovered. It currently supports up to 100 passes and 16 MiB of payload. Exported files are outside the app's deletion controls.

Personal records live in app-private storage. There is no advertising or analytics SDK in the app, and location is optional and used in the foreground.
Map, remote-photo and optional update providers still receive network requests. Image encryption does not mean every local record is separately encrypted.
