Keep a copy of what matters

   Choose the right backup

   In Settings, use Export my places for a places-only JSON file. Use the full encrypted backup option for trips, preferences, wallet metadata and private image sides as well as place records.

   Protect the full backup

   Choose a strong password and keep it safely outside the app. Parkspan cannot recover it. Review the preview and save to your chosen document provider. That provider may sync the encrypted file to cloud storage.

   Preview a restore

   Choose the corresponding restore option and select your backup. Enter the password for a full backup. Read the preview before selecting merge or replace; replace can remove current records.

4. 04

   Check the result

   Review your places, trips and passes after restoring. Keep the original backup until you have confirmed the result. An invalid or unsupported backup should not be treated as a successful restore.
