Get to know Explore, choose your layers and narrow the possibilities.

Start in Explore
Open the Explore tab. The national parks layer is selected on first launch. Switch between map and list to find the same places in the format you prefer.

Choose your layers
Open the layer picker to include state, district, territorial or other destinations. Your selections are remembered. If a place seems missing, check that its layer is enabled.

Search and refine
Search by place name or region, then open filters for agency, pass benefits, personal status or documented facilities. Apply your selections. A zero-result search can mean the combined filters are too narrow.

Open the details
Read the park description, available photographs, pass benefits and source information. Check the official website for current information before traveling. Location is optional; the catalog works without it.
